Coaching Supervision

Creating a safe, expansive space to support your reflection

Supervision for coaches looking to develop themselves and their practice

Coaching supervision is a form of professional support for coaching or mentoring practitioners, creating  a safe, expansive space to support your reflection.  By working together in collaboration my intention is to support your wellbeing, your practice and your development, or the specific objectives that you bring to supervision.

As a professional aligned with EMCC Global and currently completing my studies with Oxford Brookes University and my EMCC Global Supervision Individual Accreditation, I include below the following definitions provided from EMCC which describes well my approach.

The word supervision has a different meaning when used in our context compared with in common, everyday speech. It does not refer to the act of managing or overseeing someone’s work, and the supervisor is not present when the supervisee is working with their client.

Supervision is a form of professional support for the practitioner, and occurs separately from the interaction with the client. It is primarily a dialogue relating to their practice, an opportunity to reflect on and make sense of actual client encounters.

My Approach

My approach is best summarised as “Expanding perspectives to support growth” and builds upon my volunteer work with EMCC Global and EMCC Asia Pacific Region over the last ten years, supporting coaches and mentors across the world with their EMCC Global accreditation applications and supporting their individual reflective growth journeys.
